Fitness Evaluation

Before starting a program at the Sunnyside Wellness Centre, your current fitness level will be evaluated. Appropriate goals will be set and any special considerations identified.

Your fitness evaluation, performed by a certified kinesiologist, will include:

  • A detailed health history, reviewing illnesses, surgery, prescriptions, vitamins, health habits and personal safety.
  • Baseline health measurements, including weight, body fat percentage, lean body mass percentage, resting heart rate, blood pressure and bone density.
  • Baseline measurements, including chest, waist and hips.
  • Personal health goals (short and long term).

Monthly evaluations will detail your successes or reveal the need to revise your personal program.
