Sunnyside Auxiliary Garage Sale

8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The Auxiliary will be accepting gently used items such as knick knacks, dishes, household items, DVD's, puzzles, lamps, gardening accessories, small tools, children's toys, sport equipment etc. on Thursday, May 4, 12:00 noon - 7:00 p.m. and all day on Friday, May 5 from 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. There will be a cart in the front lobby to drop off your treasures.  

We are not able to accept clothing or electronic items.

Tell your family and friends, everyone is welcome!

All proceeds from the Auxiliary garage sale will be used to purchase specialized equipment and program supplies for Sunnyside Seniors' Services

Ole' Music and Movement

The Ole' Music and Movement Class - Heritage Hall, Sunnyside
Date: Mondays and Wednesdays: 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Details: Work out in a comfortable, accepting, barrier-free setting that is wheelchair friendly! This class is a fun alternate cardiovascular workout. It is easy to follow but you don't have to worry about keeping up. We encourage you to do as much as possible or just keep moving. The main goal is to have fun. Cost: Free for Sunnyside Wellness Centre members, $10 per month for non-members.

Location: Heritage Hall is located on the ground floor in the Sunnyside Long Term Care home on 247 Franklin St. N. in Kitchener. The room can be accessed through the main entrance.

Kids' Corner Intergenerational Program - Heritage Hall, Sunnyside 
Date: Drop in, Tuesdays from October 6, 2015 to June 2017           Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 

Details: Give your preschoolers a morning out and help a child's smile brighten someone's day! Parents and care providers are invited to bring their preschoolers to Sunnyside for playtime, games and songs with other children and care providers from around the Sunnyside community. Seniors and residents of Sunnyside Home also take part. This program has been offered to children and seniors in the Sunnyside community for over a decade.

Location: Come to the front desk at the main entrance of Sunnyside Home and you and your group will be guided to the Buttonworks House.
