• Helping parents find quality child care
• Providing financial help to parents so they can afford quality child care
• Providing financial support to licensed child care operators
• Providing one central application and wait list for child care in the region
• Operating a licensed home child care program
• Finding ways to continually improve the quality of licensed child care
• Funding and connecting families to supports for children with special needs
• Planning for the future of children's services around the needs of the community
