Community Engagement 

The OEYCFC Planning Committee will lead the Region of Waterloo through community engagement activities with the community. There are a number of engagement opportunities, including:

  • Focus groups
    • Ontario Early Years Centre Pop-Ups
      If you are a parent, caregiver, and/or caring adult with young children new dates are coming soon. Pop-ups are drop-in early years programs for you to share your thoughts about shaping the future of early years programs and services in our community. Come in and enjoy a healthy snack for you and your child(ren). * Pre-registration is not required.
    • Pop-Up Details: February 22, 2017 at the Stork Family YMCA, Waterloo from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

    • Ontario Early Years' service providers and other community partners focus group, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, from 10 am to 11:30 am at the Holiday Inn, Kitchener.
  • Surveys
    • Early Years are changing! Have your say by taking this survey. Deadline to share your feedback is april 4, 2017.
  • *Reference group participation
  • Participation in sub-working groups
    • Communications Working Group
    • Community Engagement Working Group
    • Informed Planning Working Group
